In general, forums can be of two types:
> moderated - users submit posts which are reviewed before being published;
> open - users submit posts wich are published immediately.

Our web host only has 'open' forums available, and therefore this is what has been set up. However, only people who create an account on the site using a valid email address may post to the forums, and we will always have the ability to remove or edit posts if needed.
