UPDATE 2 - Green makeover around the Doctors Surgery
Children from Otley School helped OtleyGreen plant 9 fruit trees around the Doctors' Surgery. The trees are all ancient Suffolk varieties that were in danger of becoming extinct. The children will be able to watch the trees grow and eventually enjoy the fruit. This project has been made possible by the kind permission of the doctors. In the Autumn we plan to plant a Suffolk hedge, transforming this important site in the village
UPDATE 1
Dr Egan has agreed to let us plant around the surgery. The plan is to plant a native species hedge and a range of Suffolk native trees.
If these were bare rooted stock they would have to be planted by the end of March at the latest. It might be a good idea for all Otley Green (and Otley Wood) members to get together.
